Your opinion counts! In the coming weeks, you may be one of the lucky Service members to receive an e-mail inviting you to participate in a Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Customer Satisfaction Survey.
This survey will be distributed through a random-selection process to measure the impact of MWR satisfaction on readiness, retention and unit cohesion. Marines will be asked to rate customer service, operation hours, facility conditions, and quality of services provided with regards to nine programs: fitness, libraries, outdoor recreation, recreation centers, auto skills centers, single service member programs, leisure travel, swimming pools, sports and athletics.
We value your opinion. We know you’re busy, but your participation will help ensure critical MWR programs and activities continue to be available to meet your needs. The survey is voluntary, anonymous and confidential.
The results will help determine whether programs are continuing to meet the needs of service members and families and where improvements can be made to better serve the military community. The goal is to measure changes in MWR customer satisfaction over time and evaluate effectiveness of strategic program improvements. Previous year’s results indicated that MWR participation builds resilience and impacts mission readiness.
The survey takes about 15 minutes. Though we will primarily collect feedback from Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve members, we also want to hear from military spouses. If you are married and receive a survey invitation, please complete your survey and share or forward the spouse-specific link within the email.
If you do not receive a survey and would like to provide feedback about a particular MWR service or activity, please contact your local MCCS office. To learn more about the many services MCCS provides, click here.
