Marine Corps Community Services is…

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their loved ones, and others in the Marine Corps family. Our patrons rely on MCCS to provide fitness/recreation programs, personal services, and business activities in direct support of individual and family readiness and retention.

Through Business Operations, Semper Fit, and the Single Marine Program we can cross promote your sponsorship at activities ranging from exchanges to recreation facilities.

Business Operations is comprised of the following activities:

The Marine Corps Exchange, a full-service, retail department store, offers hard and soft goods to our customers at the lowest possible prices. Exchanges carry a wide variety of products and are aggressive in securing merchandise and special promotions for their customers.

Food and Beverage Operations oversees the dining, beverage, and entertainment facilities on the installations. There are over 200 clubs, snack bars, restaurants, and fast food outlets and 14 temporary lodging facilities located throughout the United States and overseas.

Services Operations provides convenient personal services and makes vending and amusement machines, barber/beauty shops, repair shops, laundry and dry cleaning stores, and travel agencies available on Marine Corps installations.

Semper Fit is responsible for promoting healthy lifestyles through fitness, health promotion, sports, and leisure programs. Programs that support these capabilities include leisure-time activities, intramural sports, and the Marine Corps Sports Program.

Single Marine Program (SMP) activities and events are as varied as the single Marines the program serves, because it belongs to the Marines. Past activities throughout the Marine Corps include paintball excursions, deep sea fishing trips, educational trips to Washington D.C., Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and New York City. Single Marines impact programming on base too. They have sponsored barracks bash events, voter registration drives, personal financial management seminars, and healthy lifestyle briefs.

Single Marines contribute tens of thousands of community service hours each year. They participate in Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, Adopt a School, beach cleanups, or Veterans Homes and many others. Many other local organizations and causes benefit from the time and service contributed by Marines who want to make a difference in their community.
