Children, Youth and Teen Programs

Children, Youth, and Teen Programs focus on the needs of families in order to provide maximum access to useful, flexible, and affordable programs such as child development, social, recreational, and athletic programs. Children, youth and teens, ages 6 weeks to 18 years, shall be served in integrated, balanced, quality programs that support the continuum of the Marines family, on and off base.

The Key Volunteer

  • Is the spouse of a Marine in the unit.
  • Must complete Key Volunteer Training.
  • Serves as a communication link between the unit and its families.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining a sense of community within the unit.
  • Is a reliable source of information and referral
