"ARMY STILL UNDEFEATED AFTER TWO CLOSE CALLS"
Morning Games:
Army 19 - Navy 12 (8 innings)
With the score deadlocked 12-12 in the top of the 7th, Navy catcher HM3 Ashley Reaves (Camp Lejeune, NC) threw out Army pinch runner SPC Charlene Norris (Illesheim, GE) as she attempted to steal 2nd for Army's third out. Navy came to bat in the bottom of the 7th needing only a single run for the victory. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Navy failed to take advantage of the golden opportunity. Army sealed the victory in the top of the 8th with seven big runs on four hits and 2 Navy errors.
Air Force 21 - Marine Corps 7
Capt Dina Quanico (Beal AFB, CA) went 3 for 4 with four RBI's and led the ladies in blue to an easy victory over the Marines.
Mid Day Games:
Air Force 11 - Navy 7
Navy failed to add to their 7-5 lead in the top of the 6th. Air Force took charge in the bottom of the 6th with six big runs. The victory set up an evening showdown with Army.
Army 23 - Marine Corps 6
The Marines played tough with only eleven players, but committed seven costly errors.
Evening Games:
Army 8 - Air Force 7
Air Force led almost the entire game. They went into the bottom of the 7th with a slim 7-5 lead. Army was down, but not out. They loaded the bases up with one out. SGT Rebekah Moore (Hanau, GE) hit a single and cleared both the bases and the Army dugout. It was the most important hit of the championship for Army.
Navy 16 - Marine Corps 8
After losing heartbreakers to Army and Air Force, Navy got back into the medal hunt with an impressive victory over a determined Marine Corps team.

Morning Games:
Navy 18 - Marine Corps 2
After two innings Navy was up 16-0. The Marines could only manage 2 runs in the third. ABFAN Jenea Marjama ((USS Nimitz) recorded a triple, a double and a single. CT12 Heather Nolan (Lackland AFB, TX) and MA3 Jennifer Haag (NAS Sigonella, Italy) both had four RBI's.
Army 21 - Air Force 6
Army scored 12 runs in the top of the fourth. The highlight of the inning was a 2LT Vickie Gross (Fort Leonard Wood, MO) Grand Slam Home Run. MSG Vivian Colbert (Yongsan, Korea) drove in five big runs. SSG Tammy Baldwin (Fort Riley, KS) and SPC Shannika Taylor (Stuttgart, GE) both drove in four runs.
Mid Day Games:
Air Force 15 - Marine Corps 5
SSgt Amanda Peters (Lejas Field, The Azores) drove in fours runs to lead Air Force to a much need comeback victory.
Army 13 - Navy 1
Army put on an outstanding defensive show. SPC Shannika Taylor (Stuttgart, GE) once again had the hot bat as she drove in four runs.
Evening Games:
Air Force 24 - Navy 9
Navy narrowed the score to 14-9 in the fourth. They were unable to score a run after that inning. The highlight of the game was SSgt Amanda Peters (Lejas Field, The Azores) two inside the park homeruns.
Army 16 - Marine Corps 4
Once again it was the big bat of MSG Vivian Colbert (Yongsan, Korea) and an outstanding defense that gave Army the edge.
