The Department of Defense and United States Marine Corps (USMC) have partnered to host their first Virtual Military Spouse Career and Empowerment Expo. The Expo will take place February 18, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST. This live event will allow spouses to engage experts on employment and empowerment topics and gives each installation the opportunity to showcase services available.
The event will be held virtually and will include panel discussions, expert input on employment topics, and presentations on support that is available to Marine Corps families. Spouses are able to attend sessions around a myriad of topics from employment readiness and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) preparedness to self-care. The event will be an outstanding opportunity to for spouses to engage with the Marine Corps and learn about options available to them for employment preparation and family focused programs. Presenters include USMC spouse leadership and program staff, Spouse Education and Career Opportunities career coaches, Military OneSource consultants and employers. Presenters will all be available for engagement and discussion through panels, breakout sessions, and presentations.
The USMC hosted Virtual Military Spouse Career and Empowerment Expo is free to attend and is open to Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and retiree spouses of the Marine Corps. Spouses of sister services are also welcome. Register today.
